Surry Hills, Australia Shwarmama Full time

Shwarmama is a fun little venue in Surry Hills serving shawarmas, felafels, bowls, sandwiches and fries. We make almost everything in house, from fresh local ingredients. We are licensed and serve a rotating selection of beer/wine. Mixture of takeaway with a few dine in tables.

We are expanding our team and looking for energetic individuals who love great food and excellent customer service Experience in hospitality/fast food preferred but we are happy to train as well. Having a friendly customer focused personality is essential

About the role:

- taking orders and payments
- opening and closing the store
- making shawarma wraps, pitas, and other menu items
- prepping ingredients
- replenish stock in display fridges
- bussing tables
- washing dishes
- maintaining food safety protocols at all times
- general cleaning tasks
- ordering packaging supplies

What we are looking for:

- someone who is enthusiastic and takes pride in their work
- someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience and takes pride in making delicious food
- a team player, who is happy to help out their colleagues where needed
- ideally some experience in the food industry, or a quick learner with a positive 'can do' attitude
