DT Infrastructure has been entrusted with the crucial role of managing the design and construction of the maintenance facility at Ormeau. The Ormeau facility will not only support rail manufacturing and maintenance in Queensland but also contribute to the success of the Cross River Rail project and the upcoming 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games.

**About the Role**:
A new role with excellent career opportunities is now available for an **IR Advisor **to support the Ormeau QTMP.

This role is reporting to the HR/IR Manager and will be working closely with our existing teams of Senior Project Managers, Superintendents & Supervisors, providing advice and assistance to enable the project to achieve its goals through effective learning, development, and overall people management.
- Implement and administer approved human resources policies and programs - ensuring business practices comply with relevant standards, legislation, and company policy.
- Deliver a prompt credible HR service whilst managing people related risks.
- Working with people at all levels and developing a strong understanding of the work process and sequencing.
- Provide expert advice on all facets of human resources including performance, employee development and engagement; employee relations including contract/industrial instrument interpretation.
- Develop solutions and facilitate decision making with a wide range of tools and stakeholder input.
- Develop a culture of personal accountability and create an environment that encourages and rewards successful performance.
- Coordinate the annual HR processes (remuneration, performance appraisal etc.).
- Work closely with the Resourcing/Mobilisation teams to coordinate the recruitment and on-boarding activities.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources and/or Business.
- Demonstrable and successful ‘hands on’ experience in a related IR/human resources Officer / Advisor role operating as an effective HR professional.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders/clients to support delivery and create business value.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the business environment and strategies, translating these into specific HR tactics and actions.
- Able to provide advice and support around performance management, EEO and able to problem solve and identify solutions.
- Experience within the Engineering / Construction industry and ideally in a project environment.
