**Responsibilities**:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and trucks
- Identify mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Install, adjust, and align new components and parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality and safety
- Utilize welding and fabrication skills to repair or fabricate components, structures, and attachments for construction equipment
- Inspect, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, including hoses, cylinders, valves, and pumps, to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition, to support maintenance schedules and equipment history
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times, ensuring a safe work environment
- Collaborate with other team members, including mechanics, operators, and supervisors, to coordinate maintenance activities and support project timelines
- Properly use, maintain, and store tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and readily available for use
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to equipment maintenance and repair
