Now we are looking for an experienced Painter to work on a Full-time basis to join our team of professionals immediately. You will be responsible for all aspects of preparation from ceilings, walls to woodwork, interior to the exterior. Your daily responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Read blueprints/instructions and examine surface to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
- Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
- Make assessments on paint colour, mix, and match pigments using multiple techniques and tools
- Remove previous paint using a number of methods to prepare surfaces
- Support other team members to ensure completion of projects on time and according to specifications
- Work on Residential and commercial work projects
- Understand and comply with industry safety and environmental policies and procedures
