Afternoon operations at Recycling Centre
- Conduct daily machine pre-start checks/ report of faults and damages on all plant.
- Liaise with site manager to review daily operational requirements.
- Operate heavy plant and machinery in a waste collection/disposal environment - including but not limited to front end loaders, excavators, and waste handlers.
- Follow direction, establish work priorities, and meet targeted deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Focus on waste recycling and landfill diversion practices
- Complete appropriate documentation in line with position including time sheets
- Collaborate with other internal staff to create efficient and safe processes
- Must have experience operating heavy machinery.
- Minimum of 12 months operating experience - excavators, loaders, Material handlers an advantage.
- Ability to take instruction and coordinate work activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of recycling industry preferred.
- Must be able to work autonomously.

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Retention bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
