Recycling Team Member

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Recycling Centre Attendant to join our team. This role is a key part of our operations, working to promote recycling and sustainability in the community.
Main Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure customers have a great experience.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a safe, clean, efficient and professional environment for team members and customers.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Carry out regular cleaning and maintenance of reverse vending machines and sorting equipment.
- Sorting Equipment Management: Ensure sorting equipment runs efficiently by removing and replacing collection bins as they fill up.
- Hazard Monitoring: Monitor the recycling centre for any hazards and report concerns as they arise.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform ad-hoc duties as required by management.
Requirements:
- Precious Resource Advocacy: Possess a passion for recycling and the environment.
- Attention to Detail: Have a keen eye for detail and motivation to maintain a clean work environment.
- Safety Expertise: Be a safety champion, ensuring everyone returns home safely.
- Customer Interaction: Have experience in face-to-face customer service.
- Physical Demands: Be physically fit, with some manual lifting required.
