**About the Business**
The Office for the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence is a dedicated unit established to lead the whole-of government engagement with, and response to, the Royal Commission into Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence. This involves coordinating functions that include sector engagement and supporting lived-experience participation.
**Role** **Details**
The Principal Policy Officer is a role within Office for Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence and is accountable to the Director, Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence for:
- leading the Department’s preparation for and response to the Royal Commission into the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence to ensure all legal, policy and governance obligations are met
- delivering high-quality strategic policy design, implementation and evaluation
- monitoring the progress of the Royal Commission and emerging issues, identifying implications and providing high-level advice.
**Special Conditions**
- National Police Check required.
- Some out of hours work may be required.
**Role Status**: Term up to 31/12/2025
**Salary Range**: $108,109 - $116,864 (ASO7)
