An exciting opportunity has become available for a **Principal Industry Development and Policy Officer.**

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Strong understanding and awareness of legislation, policies and procedures relating to the mining, mineral resources and energy sector.
- Sound working knowledge of public sector reform practices and issues pertaining to the sustainable development of the State.
- Sound experience in undertaking complex projects, analysing problems, critically examining and summarising sensitive information concisely and formulating appropriate solutions.
- A demonstrated history of high-quality concise written communications and the creation of original insights and recommendations to senior leaders.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification in economics, public policy, project management or science are preferrable.

**Remuneration**:
ASO7, $108,109 - $116,864 per annum
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week

**Special Conditions**:

- There are two roles available and conclude on 30 June, 2027
