We are seeking to welcome an Internal Sales consultant on a full-time permanent basis to join the team at the head office, based in Welshpool, WA. With potential growth and progression pathways for high achievers, your great attitude, fast thinking and business capabilities will be highly regarded.

**Your key accountabilities and duties will include**:

- Following up orders and managing customer relationships and expectations
- Assess and review quote enquiries for potential ongoing business and direct these leads to the Business Development Manager and State Manager
- Working closely with our Sales & business development teams to ensure services are delivered with exceptional customer satisfaction
- Approval point for customer returns, and assisting Operations team with expediting orders
- Obtain and recording quotes in quote register for onforwarding charges where applicable
- Contact Customers to follow up on quotes issued and notate comments in quote register
- Assist Customers whom attend Depot with processing their freight movement e.g consignment note completion, payment for freight and tax invoice issuing
- Strong focus on safety and compliance.
- Background in express and general freight desired but not essential
- Motivated self-starter that can work autonomously with attention to detail
- Daily management of the business to achieve planned/budgeted KPIs, cost outcomes, safety measures, and service levels
- Effectively communicate with team members and key stakeholders
- Focus on the continuous improvement of systems and processes

**What we need from you**:

- Min 1 years’ experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
- Competence with Microsoft Programs
- Strong written, verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of WA Metro & Surrounding areas beneficial
- Must have a good working knowledge of linehaul and local express transport operations.
- Resilience, passion, and ability to work under pressure.
- A high level of motivation and energy with a strong focus on achieving outstanding customer experience results.
