**The role**: Reporting to the Director, Commercial Strategy, the Lead Commercial Analyst provides leadership and a wide range of strategic, financial, commercial and operational advice to operational and project areas within a large and complex Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) environment.
This role will ensure the delivery of valued, integrated and effective business solutions to operational areas and significant program/project(s).Duties will include:

- Provide a wide range of strategic and commercial advice, analysis, and support to complex operational and project areas
- Leading financial and commercial analysis on business cases and funding bids
- Assess and review purchases within major programs, including pricing, benchmarking, and commercial compliance
- Build and evaluate complex project, financial, and procurement models and scenarios, use financial data to evaluate and advise on business initiatives, identify commercial risks, and undertake cost evaluation activities
- Drive, streamline, and mature performance reporting, to support a range of key stakeholders across eHealth Queensland
- Undertake comprehensive financial and commercial evaluation processes involving major procurement activities and contribute to negotiation processes with external vendors
- Produce high-quality briefings and reports
- Build and sustain effective networks with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders within eHealth Queensland, across Queensland Health, and the Government to ensure outcomes are achieved within set timeframes.
