Mechanical Fitting Apprenticeship

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Our client **BOC Gas and Gear**, based in **Torrensville**, is a leading global gases and engineering company that supply gasses and equipment to many sectors including heavy industry and medical environments are looking for a Mechanical Fitter apprentice to join the team.

**As an apprentice, you will be working in the workshop and at customer sites, installing gas pipes, servicing and installing food preparation/freezer equipment, servicing BOC owned and customer owned gas equipment, conducting customer gas purges and rebuilding. **Overall, you will gain comprehensive exposure to various aspects of BOC, ranging from pipeline construction to the utilisation of gas-owned equipment by end users.**

Undertaking this **four-year apprenticeship **will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter and you will earn your **Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (MEM30219).**

The person we're looking for enjoys hard work, adaptable and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be someone who takes pride in their work and have a strong desire to become fully qualified in this field. Applicants who have completed a pre-apprenticeship will be highly regarded.
