Our client is a tier one contractor in the Energy space with an impressive record of delivering turnkey energy design and construction projects. Based in the Southeast, this National company has adopted a flexible hybrid working model. **Your new role**

This role is best suited for someone with 4+ years’ experience in Electrical Distribution Design. You will provide specialist designs for electrical distribution projects and work with major stakeholders such as the Electrical Utility providers in Victoria. This is a key leadership position within the business and you will play a huge part in leading and mentoring the team.

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Proven work background and built-up consultancy experience to tackle the challenges in design projects relating to the power industry including the structural aspects of overhead power lines and underground project requirements
- Proficient level of understanding of design requirements,
- Understanding of project management involved from inception to completion
- Experience working autonomously within deadlines and the constant challenge of fast-paced projects and working within a strong team-based culture.
- Detailed knowledge and industry experience of electrical construction standards and specifications in the electrical system,
- Detailed knowledge of Electrical distribution networks from low voltage to sub-transmission (66kV), URD and Public Lighting.
- Good working knowledge of software programs such as AutoCAD or PLSCADD and hands-on skills in general computer software.
