- Assist in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, service, meal distribution, ware-washing, and cleaning of the hospital service areas and in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.**The role**:
In accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines, assist with food preparation, production, plating service, ware-washing, and cleaning duties in the provision of catering services to patients, visitors, and staff of the hospital.
- Assist in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, service, meal distribution, ware-washing, and cleaning of the hospital service areas and in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.
- Check patient identification is correct prior to delivering/distributing meals and observe all dietary restrictions allocated to patients.
- Perform receipt and storage duties associated with food supplies in line with food safety guidelines.
- Perform general food preparation, service and menu related duties.
