**About the Role**

Reporting to the Financial Controller, Development and Joint Ventures, your role will be to provide consolidated Joint Venture financial information and analysis for the Business, including the Asset Decision Support Teams, Group Finance, Group Taxation, Treasury, Group Insurance, Production Allocation & Commercial.

Specifically, this position will:

- Lead the preparation of JV budgets and forecast updates
- Lead the preparation of JV management reports, commentary and analysis (using standard reports produced by Financial Services)
- Ensure input financial information and analysis is critically reviewed
- Reconciliation and alignment of the general ledger balance with Joint Venture expenditure statements including clean up of SAP migration balances, loading of manual adjustments into SAP and updating of Expenditure Statement mapping
- Automation of expenditure statements to enable reports to be prepared directly from SAP without manual intervention, facilitating timely reconciliations
- Input operated and non-operated Joint Venture accounting and providing reports;
- Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
- Additional activities as required by the Financial Controller.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have the following key skills and experience:

- Qualifications in finance, commerce or accounting with CPA or CA
- Significant experience in senior financial roles within a complex commercial JV environment
- Advanced analytical skills in MS Excel
- High level experience in SAP
- The ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance professionals
- Flexible, resilient, discreet, quick with thought, relaxed and able to adapt and think outside of the box.
