**The Role**

Our Maintenance Planners are responsible for the short term and long-term planning of both routine and defect maintenance at Vales Point Power Station. A key component of this position is the organisation and coordination of internal and external resources required for maintenance plans and projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintenance Planning
- Develop and deliver effective and timely project plans, work schedules, technical information and material resources.
- Oversee and document the progress of planned work
- Identify potential external influences to schedules and workflow priorities
- Liaise and co-ordinate with key stakeholders
- Quality Assurance
- Implement Quality Assurance systems and processes
- Conduct internal audits in relation to QA
- Contract Administration
- Manage contracts
- Provide Period Order management
- Audit contractor compliance
- Identify any non-conformances and resolve issues
- Project Management
- Manage small projects

**We are looking for someone with (Selection Criteria)**
- Trade or professional qualifications at Diploma level in Engineering, Business, Project/Contract Management or Quality Assurance and/or substantial relevant experience in a power station or other similar heavy engineering environment
- Substantial experience and knowledge of maintenance planning, QA, project and contract management principles and processes incorporating OHS&E and Delta policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to persuade, influence and negotiate positive outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively on both technical and non-technical matters to provide guidance to stakeholders.
