We are currently looking for a Technical Services Manager to join our Digital Workplace and Contract Centre Professional Services team based in Melbourne.

The Field Services Manager (FSM) is responsible for the successful operation of one or more Business Units within VIC - in this case, our DWP and Cx business. With a Professional Services focus, you’ll own delivery management and utilisation, driving profitability and governance. But most importantly, you’ll lead, develop, inspire and motivate our highly skilled, high performing team of Engineers and Consultants.

**The key objectives of this role include**:

- **People**: Promote our team culture and values, leading by example; Day to day line management; Employee performance and development management, career coaching and mentoring; Interviewing and on boarding new contractors, employees or sub-contractors
- **Projects and Technical Delivery**: work with Resource Coordinator to manage assignments for projects; guide projects through PS governance process; track progress of in-flight projects and ensure client satisfaction; planning for and engagement of managed services; post implementation reviews
- **Business Unit**: assist in bids and proposals including deal governance & signoff; Enable smooth transition of Sales to Delivery; motivate and educate team on go to market; develop relationships with Vendors and leverage partner relationships,
- **Company**: Assist Regional Services management with the establishment of the Services strategy and execution, to achieve revenue and expense targets in line with NTT's overall strategy; drive business consulting; provide cultural leadership through green initiatives and social responsibility programs, manager NTT’s relationships with Customers, Resellers, Suppliers, Vendors and Partners to the benefit of Professional Services
- **Financial**: Forecasting preparation; driving profitability of BU’s against targets; maintaining utilisation levels of billable staff; work with Solutions team to build business demand; monitor and reconcile project financial status

**To succeed in this role, you’ll need**:

- A proven track record in both service delivery and people management in an IT services environment, with a focus on Digital Workplace and Contact Centre Engineering projects
- Demonstrated capability and knowledge in Data Cetnre and Contact Centre to support, guide and mentor your team
- Excellent communication skills - you have the ability to influence, motivate and negotiate
- Understanding of technology, vendors and solutions in the Security space
- Experience managing resources across multiple projects / assignments in a matrixed and nationalised business
- Strong financial and commercial awareness. You’ll ideally have P&L management experience

- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Excellent planning, administrative, reporting and budgeting ability
- Understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Proven ability to build and maintain client & vendor relationships
