**About the role**

The junior pricing analyst role will support the wider Pricing and Customer Value team with day to day activities like deriving data, analysis of COGS and Price movements, maintenance of competitor price reporting data, deriving insights from analysis and communication to stakeholders on key topics.

**What you'll be responsible for**
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to discover and communicate insights, and offer concrete recommendations for key stakeholders to make critical decisions
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with stakeholders to understand specifications, business requirements, and communicate insights.

**Skills you'll need**
- Critical thinking: Identifies and synthesizes patterns and trends amongst various sources of information to reach a meaningful conclusion, perspective or insight
- Attention to detail: Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exists in information and deliverables

Problem solving: Identifies problems and develops logical solutions that address the problems

Pricing & Customer Value team, a business partnering function within the Buying division of Supermarkets. The purpose of this role is to support the optimisation of pricing opportunities for the Woolworths Supermarkets division with a strong focus on building continued price trust with our customers and maintaining Woolworths’ competitiveness in the market. Our team of analysts are trusted business partners to a wide group of stakeholders and are strongly connected to the development and delivery of the strategic direction of the business.
