**The Company**

This is a newly built digital and e-commerce B2B business, that sits within one of Australia’s leading major retail chains. It specialises in developing and managing the company's online shopping platforms, mobile apps, and other digital initiatives, delivering smart solutions and best-in-class value to its business customers.

**The Role**

Reporting directly to the Head of Pricing, you will play a key role in designing and implementing the pricing strategy and methodology. Working collaboratively as part of a cross-functional B2B team, you will develop and maintain the list price infastructure, understanding key profit drivers, and competitor pricing to achieve real commercial outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing, maintaining and continuously improving the pricing methodology
- Playing a key role in designing and implementing the next stage of our pricing methodology evolution.
- Conducting profitability analysis, understanding key drivers and articulating to senior leaders
- Maintain competitor pricing lists that are provided by our third party vendor, monitor competitor price index and advise the teams of any major pricing discrepancies with pricing recommendations.
- Uploading article sell data into SAP, and update on a cyclical basis based on pricing reviews and supplier negotiations
- Understand all systems used for managing B2B pricing and provide input on platform enhancements where required
- Interact with third party vendors to provide pricing data, feedback and ensure shared information is updated and relevant.

**Skills and Requirements**
- 4-5 years experience in a B2B Pricing Analyst, Finance Analyst, Sales Analyst or Commercial Analyst role
- Proven ability to analyst and translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders
- Adaptable, collaborative, high attention to detail with a growth mindset.
- Advanced Excel skills, with ability to quickly manipulate and work effectively with large datasets.
- Experience using SAP for data management is preferred.
- A self starter who is able to work independently and manage conflicting priorities across multiple tasks.
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills to present pricing strategies to executives and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical aptitude, results oriented mindset with great attention to detail.
