**The Opportunity**

As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of the Billing functions for Ramsay Hospitals

**Full Time 60 to 76 Hour Fortnight.**

**The role**

The Billing Hub role centralizes and streamlines billing operations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments across multiple departments.

This role will also involve, but is not limited to:

- Billing and receipting of hospital accounts.
- Communicating with health funds and insurers
- Managing customer account queries
- Communicating with doctors and patients regarding billing
- Managing refunds and debt collection for allocated accounts.

**About You**
- Prior experience in medical practice or hospital billing, health fund or Medicare claims
- Confidence and experience with medical billing systems such as Meditech
- Strong general knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

**Desirable criteria**
- Knowledge of Meditech patients management system or other medical billing software; and
- Experience using Meditech or other patient administration software.

**Remuneration**:On offer is a base hourly rate range from $32.83 - $34.50 + super based on exp and quals.

**Requirements**:
