**About the Opportunity**

As part of the Finance and Procurement team the Accounts Receivable Officer will provide support and the delivery of a professional and efficient Accounts Receivable function.

In this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Operating and maintaining of the debtor’s ledger including, Licensing and other program debtors.
- Processing and allocation of payments.
- Reconciliation of debtor accounts
- Following up of high value outstanding accounts to facilitate payment resolutions.
- Administering support for customers assessed as experiencing financial hardship.
- Liaising with our Collection Agency on appropriate recovery steps for referred delinquent debt.
- Processing and responding to customer enquiries.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience in Accounts Receivable functions in a general office environment in a medium to large organisation.
- Experience in identifying process improvement opportunities and potential cost efficiencies across a broad range of transactional services and business processes.
- Experience in the operation of Pathway or other enterprise financial accounting systems.
- Able to work accurately to agreed deadlines.
