MonashHeart is the largest cardiology service provider in Victoria, with over 300 staff across our three sites, providing over 80,000 episodes of cardiac care to the community annually. We provide cardiology healthcare services to patients of all ages, from in-utero and newborns right through to our senior citizens. **About the Role**
The MonashHeart Heart Failure Fellow will work closely with the MonashHeart Heart Failure team (Medical and Nursing) to provide timely specialist medical support to all heart failure program referrals, including participation on ward rounds and heart failure clinics. The MonashHeart Heart Failure fellow may have an opportunity to gain experience in non-invasive imaging, including echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
The Fellow will also be required to participate in the maintenance and development of clinical databases and audits. They will also be encouraged to develop and participate in heart failure specific research projects; both investigator lead and industry based clinical trials, and will have the opportunity to undertake a higher degree.
**The successful applicant will have**:
- A medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) which is recognised for registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- FRACP or equivalent medical degree recognised for registration in Victoria
- At least 3 (three) years Advanced Training in Cardiology at a recognised tertiary centre
