**Your new role**

In your new role as Transport Operations Lead, you’ll manage operational performance for transport activities across the region. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

- Management of the end-to-end transport network, across international logistics through to domestic distribution, ensuring shipments are on-time and delivering an excellent level of customer service.
- Monitoring performance across the transport network, to identify opportunities for improvement, identify issues and collaborate with customers internal & external to remedy any problems.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function, with an emphasis on cost-minimisation, safety, and service delivery, while assisting in project implementation.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in the transport, freight, and logistics domain, with relevant tertiary qualifications highly regarded.
- Best practice experience in transport operations, with understanding of DC Operations and 3PL management favoured, in addition to international logistics exposure.
- Strong systems skills, with exposure to relevant software (i.e., TMS, SAP), with systems implementation experience a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, project management experience, experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and strong commercial acumen.
