**Job Description**:
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Operations Supervisor to effectively supervise the compressed distribution function based in Preston. This will include the safe and cost effective distribution of products to our customers as per required schedule, management of drivers and cylinder control function. You will work closely with Dispatch Officers and Schedulers for driver requirements and maintenance controller ongoing service and maintenance of distribution vehicles and other Toll owned assets used in the distribution process.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the Transport and Logistics industry.
- Dangerous Goods knowledge would be advantageous.
- Ability to determine manpower and equipment to meet scheduled workloads
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet competing deadlines to meet service demands.
- Working knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers, subcontractors, operational personnel and suppliers.
- Understanding of profit and loss reporting
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
