Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School including Ipswich Junior Grammar School offers high quality, non-denominational education to students from Kindy to Year 12 (co-education from Kindy to Year 6, girls only Years 7-12). Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated **Mathematics & Science Teacher** to join our collaborative academic team. This is a **fixed-term position**, working **full-time in Semester 1** and **0.4 FTE in Semester 2**, with the potential for additional hours through relief teaching assignments.
The role primarily supports **middle school students (Years 7-10)** in Mathematics and Science. Experience and capability in teaching **Senior Mathematics (Years 11-12)** will be highly regarded.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience developing and delivering comprehensive mathematics academic program within the Australian curriculum, and
- Be passionate about teaching and enriching the learning experience of students.
- Differentiate the curriculum by employing a variety of instructional techniques and strategies aligned with instructional objectives, to meet the needs of all students.
- Experience monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on student progress within the curriculum area, using data analysis to inform classroom strategies for student development and improvement.
- The ability to develop confidence and self-esteem in students and to act as a role model in presentation, action, and communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with highly developed organisational, communication and administrative skills.
- Ability to participation in grounds’ supervision on a regular rostered basis.
- Eligibility to work in Australia with relevant teaching qualifications and current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Queensland College of Teachers being highly regarded.
