**About the role**

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Lifestyle Editor to lead and shape our lifestyle content across digital platforms. This creative and strategic role sits at the heart of our editorial team - perfect for someone who lives and breathes content and wants to make a real impact with their words. You'll be responsible for creating and commissioning lifestyle vertical content across beauty, health, fashion, parenting, travel, and food, ensuring everything we publish has that classic Mamamia tone while driving engagement across platforms. Based in Sydney, you'll report to our Deputy Editor and lead a team of three content producers.

**Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us**:

- Commission and write high-quality lifestyle content while building a diverse contributor network
- Create compelling headlines and optimize content for distribution across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Drive affiliate revenue through engaging, clickable content
- Work closely with commercial teams to support branded content initiatives
- Analyse traffic metrics and audience data to inform content strategy
- Collaborate with our video and podcast teams to develop cross-platform lifestyle content
- Lead and develop a team of content producers across social and written platforms
- Represent Mamamia at industry events and build relationships with PR agencies

**Now, a bit about you**
- You have 3-5 years' experience in digital lifestyle publishing with a proven track record of growing audience metrics
- You're an exceptional writer and editor who can produce high-volume, engaging content
- You have experience managing contributors and direct reports
- You understand SEO, social media optimization, and content distribution strategies
- You can skillfully balance editorial integrity with commercial objectives
- You have strong news judgment and trend-spotting capabilities within lifestyle verticals
- You're highly organized with excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- You're comfortable with tech tools like CMS platforms, Google Analytics, and Canva
