**Title**:Operator, Production**:
**We are now looking for an experienced and innovative Operator to join the Manufacturing Team based in Hallam, VIC, Australia**

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Operate production plant
- Unload incoming goods - Road tanker/ISO/Flexibladder/FCL/LCL
- Load vehicle for despatch - Road tanker/ISO/Flexibladder/FCL/LCL
- Testing of manufactured product as required in laboratory
- Housekeeping - ensuring a clean and hazard free work environment, including reporting of any incidents relating to EHSQ and hazard assessment
- Cleaning and relabeling of IBC's
- Ensure that all work is done in accordance with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Policies and Responsible Care.
- Work in compliance with the Kemira EHSQ protocols at all times. Non-compliance with this item will constitute a breach of the agreement.
- Any other tasks as reasonably requested by Production Supervisor
- Work in compliance with the Kemira Code of Conduct at all times. Signing this agreement constitutes an agreement from the employee that he has received a copy of the code of conduct and understands the requirements and the possible ramifications of breaching this protocol.
- Picking orders by batch number
- Flexibility with regard to changing shift may be required

**What you'll bring to the team**:

- Current forklift licence with 2-3 years experience
- Previous experience as an Operator in the chemical industry
- Knowledge of chemicals as well as understanding the health and safety fundamentals of chemical handling
- A proactive approach to health and safety, including notification of incidents and assessments of hazards
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English
- Courage to drive constant improvement by challenging existing status and striving to ensure continual customer supply and minimum quality requirements of all products are met.
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & Powerpoint
- SAP experience preferable
