Production Worker

Working as part of a friendly team, your main duties and responsibilities will be:

- Set up, shut down and operation of product filling, labelling and sealing machines in accordance with equipment work instructions.
- Printing labels for products and ensuring quality of printed labels meet specifications.
- Product packaging.
- Product formulation.
- 100 % inspection of product before final release.
- Ensuring that Batch Records (BRs), company procedures, and Work Instructions (WIs) are strictly adhered to.
- Communicate production and quality issues to the Production Manager or relevant personnel.
- Reporting non-conformities to the Team Leader or Production Manager.
- Verification and identification of raw materials released to production.
- Ensuring that all jobs outlined by either the Production Manager or Team Leader are completed as per the production schedule.
- Ensuring that equipment being used is checked to verify calibration status and is operated in accordance with applicable safety precautions documented in the relevant WI.
- Ensuring entries in BRs are legible and accurate.
- Ensuring cleanliness of all manufacturing areas.
- Ensuring material is segregated and identified as per relevant procedures and WIs.
- Cleaning production equipment and work areas.
- Other production and laboratory tasks when assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

High school qualification

**EXPERIENCE**

Previous experience in a similar role/industry preferred but not mandatory.

- Able to maintain focus while performing repeated tasks
- Demonstrate ability to follow quality and production procedures
- Hard-working team player
- Good eyesight and able to see colours
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and write well
- Work in a fast-paced environment on rapid conveyor

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- No weekends
