**Overview**

IOT Energy Services are a rental and services organisation within the Australian, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea offshore/onshore oil and gas, mining and geothermal industries, specifically in the supply of downhole rental tools, tubular and casing running services and workshop pre-assembly services to operators, drilling contractors and service companies.

**About the role**:
IOT Energy Services is currently seeking a full-time permanent Workshop Technician to be based in Jandakot, WA. This role will provide for his/her mechanical knowledge, capability and expertise working in our mobile oilfield equipment repair/maintenance workshop.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates work as directed by Manager.
- Complete Service Reports and Daily Worksheets.
- Competently and efficiently complete general maintenance of equipment.
- Complete and lead others to receive and load out of equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular checks that certifications are current on all appropriate equipment.
- Understand and identify tool specific inspection requirements and test procedures.
- Liaise with third party service providers including customers, clients and vendors.
- Conduct site specific induction for third parties including customers, clients and vendors.
- Operate Pressure Testing Equipment, Digital Pressure Test Gauge and record results.
- Operate Torque Turn Machine, Torque Turn Computer and record results.
- Operation of Overhead Gantry Crane for solitary and dual lifts.
- Forklift movements, loading/unloading vehicles and loading/unloading pallet racking.
- Receive and Dispatch company and customer owned assets.
- Operate Spray-Paint equipment in the Spray Booth.
- Operate High-Pressure Jet Washing equipment.
- Refurbishment and Maintenance of tubulars, tools and equipment.
- Maintain knowledge in a specialty area of workshop and a strong understanding and awareness of related areas.
- Conduct risk analysis and complete JHA.
- Locate and read SDS prior to using consumables and or/ hazardous materials.
- Conduct and complete incident reports.
- Weekly housekeeping duties as directed by Manager.

**Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Sound mechanical knowledge of machinery
- Excellent attention to detail during one off and repetitive tasks
- Excellent communication skills (English)
- Self-motivated
- Safe working attitude
- Ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
- Technical aptitude
- 2 years experience within Oil & Gas service industry (preferred)
- 1 year experience working with Hand Tools
- 1 year experience in hydraulic/pneumatic operations (preferred but not essential)
- Dogging ticket is advantageous.

**Salary**: $49,909.18 - $65,000.00 per year
