As Workshop Technician, you will take responsibility for mechanical maintenance ensuring quality.

(Salary range - AUD 85k /annum – AUD 110k/ annum - Full time)

As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and repairing subsea oil and gas equipment
• Ensuring that the necessary materials, equipment, parts, procedures and qualifications are available to perform the job according to the WOP and the BH EHS standing requirements.
• Commissioning, running, maintaining and repairing Baker Hughes equipment.
• Ensuring that the workshop procedures cover the actual work, and that they are followed.
• Promoting and ensuring compliance to company and regulatory Quality management systems at all time.
• Ensuring that the workshop equipment, and facilities are suitable and in operational condition.
• Ensuring that WOP is followed, filled in with necessary information, contain correct documentation and are signed and completed.
• Ensuring the use of materials and support substances according to specific requirements.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have minimum 3 years of relevant workshop experience within Oil & Gas Industry.
• Have the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Have mechanical fitting cert III qualification or similar
• Have a good mechanical skills, and the ability to multitask whilst using technical equipment show good problem-solving,
• Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, good mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills,
• Have the ability to work and communicate well with internal and external customers
• Have experience and knowledge within subsea segment such as trees, chokes, IWOCS, controls system is .
