**Ward Secretary - Maternity Bookings**
- Permanent Part-Time opportunity (3 days per week Monday to Friday) _
**About the Role**
In this role, you will provide a high level of clerical and administrative support within the Maternity Services unit. The Greenslopes Private Hospital Maternity Services Unit is a 26-bed ward which offers state of the art, modern amenities, with a five-star hotel-style feel. The Maternity Services Unit also has a baby nursery, 5 birthing suites and 10 special care nursery cots.
You will coordinate all areas of maternity bookings to ensure maintenance of monthly quotas in the unit and contribution to the achievement of the strategic objectives in line with Hospital requirements.
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you will have exceptional customer service and administrative with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also demonstrate the ability to maintain positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will also bring;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Strong customer service skills
- Computer literacy including competent keyboard and Microsoft Office skills
- Able to complete tasks within designated timeframes
Desirable skills:
- Certificate in Medical Terminology
- Previous experience in an administrative/reception position
- Experience in hospital mainframe systems (eg IBA/Meditch)
- Relevant health services experience

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:
- Must be up-to-date in their **vaccination against COVID-19 (including the third dose, as required)** using a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation.
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
