**Job Summary**:
The Installation Technician II is responsible for ensuring that General Electric (GE) turbines are constructed per approved procedures and are authorized to act in an advisory capacity to GE’s construction contractors to ensure proper installation for all components prior to turbine hand over to the commissioning lead.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Verify that the work is completed in compliance with customer’s requirements
- Document all work performed
- Follow all assigned Environmental, Health and Safety procedures
- Supervise the construction of wind turbines
- Perform installation inspection of completed turbines
- Repair defects
- Report policy or procedure violation
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
- Submit progress reports
- Liaise with internal and external customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Travel may be required
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- Technical degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical discipline or
- Equivalent of 4+ years’ experience in the field
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- English Proficiency Required

- Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Cleaning and lubricating on maintenance.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Motor vehicle operation to and from turbines, shop, and multiple sites.
