**About the Role**
As the **Manager - Health, Safety, and Wellbeing**, you'll play a crucial role in our client's safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSW legislation, and leading initiatives that foster a safe, healthy, and high-performing workplace. Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, you'll:
- **Lead HSW Strategy**: Oversee and implement strategic workplace health, safety, and wellbeing (HSW) program.
- **Drive Cultural Change**: Foster a sustainable safety culture by engaging with leaders and staff across all offices.
- **Provide Expert Advice**: Offer strategic and operational HSW guidance to senior leaders, managers, and committees.
- **Build Strong Relationships**: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Workcover, Work Health and Safety Queensland, and more.
- **Manage Projects**: Lead HSW projects, maintain a compliant Safety Management System, and introduce proactive risk management strategies.
**Key Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- **Experience** in delivering and managing HSW programs, including psychosocial and physical risk management.
- **Expertise** in data analysis, risk assessment, and implementing creative solutions.
- **Knowledge** of relevant legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
- Strong **stakeholder engagement skills** to influence and drive positive outcomes.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and safe workplace culture.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Relevant qualifications in HSW or a related field.
- Experience with compliance and safety management systems.
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordination experience.
