**About the Opportunity**:
LUCAS Restaurants is approaching a significant period of growth, with several new venues scheduled for roll out in the next few years.

To facilitate this, LUCAS Restaurants is looking to appoint a Head of Talent and Organisational Capability (TOC)

This newly created role will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership in the area of capability development.

The key pillars of this role will include, Recruitment, Induction & Onboarding, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Leadership Development and Performance Management

**Main Role Responsibilities**:

- Partnering with key stakeholders, develop leadership and talent initiatives to strengthen the pipeline and build organisational capability
- Strategically lead the design, development, implementation and facilitation of organisational wide initiatives across talent and performance management, learning and development, talent acquisition and change management.
- Establish a capability development strategy across all business units of LUCAS Restaurants
- Develop in-house learning solutions to build and sustain capability required by venues and support office
- Evaluate the success and impact of people and capability development initiatives to ensure improved profitability
- Drive the design and implementation of talent programs (e.g., succession management, talent movement, leadership development, talent architecture)
- Conduct regular audits of the organisational structure and present recommendations to improve key people processes and practices in Talent identification, acquisition, and assessment.
- Work with key stakeholders on the organisational wide succession plan and ensure that there is a talent review which facilitates a review of organisational capability needs and the alignment of talent to meet these needs
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure the recruitment of emerging and top talent to meet the needs of the organisation and that this becomes part of LUCAS Restaurants DNA

**Experience, Skills & Attributes**:

- 7+ years’ experience in Talent and Capability, Human Resources Management
- 5+ years’ experience in people management
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of HR Capability processes and systems including the ability to create pathway programs
- Strong experience in design, delivery, facilitation and evaluation of all types of Capability programs and initiatives
- Proven leadership and coaching skills; be highly collaborative in style
- Excellent influencing and communication skills with the ability to interact and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Experience working with senior executives including the CEO; Demonstrable commercial acumen; be highly flexible; with the ability to identify business opportunities and operationalise these with appropriate governance; and Proven project management skills
