Accounts Receivable and Finance Officer required for supportive organisation in the CBD. Quick start position that can become permanent.

**The Company**

The organisation are located centrally in Melbourne in the heart of the CBD and with easy access to major public transport links. The business is growing, and this position is a new one within the current finance structure. Very stable and progressive employer who offer full training and scope for growth.

**The Role**

Things are moving quickly with initial interviews taking place in late July and the placement start date scheduled for early August.

Typical day to day duties will involve:

- Billing and issuing of invoices
- Daily banking and reconciliations
- Some following up of overdue debt though this is a small component of the position
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Receipting and allocating new incoming payments
- Daily banking
- Data entry
- Interpretation of leases and contractual documentation
- General administration tasks to support both accounts and the Office Manager
- Supporting the Assistant Accountant and CFO with general accounting work

This is a full-time position with hours worked Monday - Friday in the CBD.

**Your Profile**

You will have a background in either Customer Service, Administration or Accounts with 1 years experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

- Some experience with accounts receivable duties (banking and receipting)
- Good energy and desire to learn
- Passion for customer service and administration
- Happy to work part of the week in the CBD
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable picking up new systems
- Stable career history
- Long-term working rights in Australia
