AVK Australia is part of the Global AVK Group and responsible for the group’s activities in the Oceania region (Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea & Pacific Islands). AVK Australia is based in Wingfield, South Australia, with operations across Australia as well as New Zealand.
**About this Opportunity**
We are seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is a great opportunity for an individual looking to build on their customer service experience, develop new skills and contribute to delivering reliable service to customers in the civil and industrial sector.
Reporting to the Customer Service & Internal Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for:
- Assisting with technical sales enquiries involving prices, stock availability, outstanding orders, credit requests and any related quality issues.
- Processing of sales orders and data entry in a timely manner.
- Answering customer telephone enquiries.
- Building and maintaining strong and lasting relationship with customers.
- Responding to customer enquiries for stock or technical information in a timely manner.
- Liaising with product experts and other internal departments to find solutions to enquiries.
- Prompt processing and management of export orders.
**About You**
- Experience in a customer service role or similar, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple enquiries efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in creating accurate written documents.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Great attention to detail
- A willingness to learn, grow, and develop new skills
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and offer practical solutions to existing process.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is advantageous
- Experience on a technical product category is advantageous
