Operating for over 80 years, Gowrie Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation that provides long day care and kindergarten at six sites across Melbourne. We also have a growing consulting function and an RTO specialising in early learning qualifications. Our Carlton Learning Precinct service opened in January 2020 and is co-located with Carlton Primary School, offering opportunities for community building through shared spaces and close connections with the school, maternal and child health services, parenting services and playgroups as well as the wider community.

**About the Role
Are you a Diploma qualified Educator that enjoys helping others grow and reach their potential? If this sounds like you, then our Leadership Support role could be just what you’ve been looking for.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Working with the Early Years Leader to support the implementation of a high-quality early learning program
- Providing leadership to a team of early childhood educators, role modelling professional practice that’s reflective of Gowrie Victoria’s purpose, philosophy, and values
- Demonstrating, encouraging, sharing, and embedding professional learning across the team
- Ensuring educators support children to be active participants in their own learning through a holistic and integrated approach
- Role modelling compliance with Gowrie’s early learning policies, procedures and practices

**About You**

We’re looking for:

- A Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- A sound working knowledge of the NQF and approved early learning frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood in implementing programs that are inclusive and respond to the interests, strengths and learning needs of individual children
- An ability to work effectively in a team and engage in regular critical reflection
