**Packing Room Operator/Warehouse Assistant**

Join our team as a Packing Room Operator/Warehouse Assistant, where you'll contribute to the efficient and accurate blending and bottling of our product range. Using semi-automated bottling equipment, you’ll help maintain a smooth production process while upholding the highest standards of quality. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, good physical fitness, and the ability to perform repetitious tasks as part of a small, collaborative team. Critical thinking, forward planning, and a proactive approach are key to succeeding in this role.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Set up and operate bottling equipment to facilitate production.
- Accurately blend bulk products following established procedures.
- Plan ahead to manage inventory levels and packing schedules effectively.
- Work in accordance with the requirements of our HACCP Food Safety Management system.
- Maintain accurate production logs, documenting quantities and quality checks.
- Monitor and optimise production line efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and productivity.
- Assist with packing customer orders.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols for a safe work environment.

**Skills and Experience**
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to tasks, including planning ahead to ensure smooth production (we fill about 220,000 bottles a year).
- Ability to multitask (e.g., observe several operations while performing a task).
- Strong mathematics skills to accurately record production data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with databases is an advantage.
- Forklift licence is advantageous (willingness to obtain one if needed).
- Physically fit, as this role includes lifting items weighing up to 25 kilograms and engaging in repetitive tasks.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, production, food services, or hospitality preferred but not mandatory.

**Work Details**
- **Location**: East Queanbeyan
- **Start Date**: Anticipated 6 January. Some casual work may be available before Christmas.
- **Salary**: Based on experience and work rate.
