We have an amazing opportunity to join the National Forecast & Replenishment team as the Inventory Planning Specialist (Location Flexible)

This is a key role whose main purpose is being res ponsible for quality inventory flow into and out of Metcash and the key liaison for inventory budgeting for Metcash Food.

What you’ll do

Manage the annual and quarterly inventory budgets for Metcash Food, and other pillars as required through thorough engagement

Own the output of the Replenishment plan and be the key conduit to all internal and external stakeholders of its output

Liaise and collaborate with the Metcash Replenishment network on event planning

Build and maintain strong relationships with system owners (internally and externally) and be the liaison point for system upgrades and changes

Liaise and collaborate with the Metcash Replenishment network on event planning

Act as the gatekeeper on range from the Metcash ERP into the Forecast and Replenishment system

Develop and drive accurate replenishment reporting through Power BI and other reporting avenues

**What you'll bring**:
Inventory Management / Inventory Analyst background in FMCG environment

Professional Communication skills with the ability to achieve alignment from broad stakeholder groups

Excellent problem solving including 'outside the box' solutions with a thirst for continuous improvement

Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple stakeholders

Stakeholder management and relationship building skills across all levels of the business

Robust organisation skills with an eye for detail

Relevant skills in MS Office including intermediate-advanced Microsoft Excel (functional in complex data sets and pivot tables)

**Systems Knowledge**: JDA, Blue Yonder and Power BI preferred but not essential
