**Environmental Services Assistant**

Mayflower is currently seeking highly motivated, energetic and efficient Environmental

Services Assistants(cleaning and laundry) to join our team. Working in accordance with

**About the role**
- Casual and Part Time Position available.
- Flexible working environment. Based at our Brighton and Reservoir Facility
- As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will contribute to maintaining the

cleanliness of the home and resident rooms, as well as assisting with in house laundry

and general services tasks.
- Working in a team environment, you will ensure all residents are provided with a safe

and fresh environment where cleaning quality standards are met at all times.
- Observe and maintain infection control guidelines in relation to cleaning and laundry

standards and processes.
- Remain inclusive, empathetic and respectful to all residents.
- An understanding of older people and their needs.
- High attention to detail.
- Knowledge and the ability to undertake environmental tasks.
- The ability to work with limited supervision whilst being an effective team member.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management and prioritization skills.
- The ability to obtain a satisfactory police record check (aged care or vulnerable people

specific)
