Are you an experienced early learning professional who’s ready to take their career to the next level, honing leadership skills and helping to build a successful business?
As the Assistant Director, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team to establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.
Welcome to Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Brighton - North Road Our center is nestled within a charming country beachside community, with the city just a quick 20-minute journey away. Our neighborhood boasts a mix of young families and long-standing residents, offering a dynamic blend of experiences. The educational landscape is diverse, with an array of public and private schools, and our families are actively involved in various sports and recreational activities, including water sports and fishing.

Our core mission is to provide a secure, nurturing, and enriching learning environment for each child.
A seasoned Bachelor of Education teacher with seven years of experience oversees our Government-approved Kindergarten program.
This program merges child-centric learning and intentional teaching, nurturing academic and life skills.
Our Centre interior, from Nursery to Kindergarten, is thoughtfully arranged to align with the Early Years Learning Framework.
The environment stimulates sensory exploration and promotes play-based learning for comprehensive development.
Outdoors, we feature vegetable patches, thematic gardens, and a herb garden, promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.
Play structures like cubby houses, sandpits, a pirate ship, a creek bed, a water tank, a stage, and a rock pit facilitate imaginative outdoor play.
We maintain a robust connection with the wider community through visits, events, and participation opportunities for the children

**In this role, you will**:
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care

Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team

Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence

Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
