**About the Role**

12 month contract on a daily rate up to $860 + super.

Work from home 4 days; 1 day in the office near to Central Station, Sydney

Procurement role focusing on end to end ICT / Technology Procurement:

- Contribute to the development and implementation of category management plans and strategies to deliver value for money and meet stakeholder needs and expectations
- Analyse business needs, commercial risks and supply markets to inform category planning and sourcing and provide governance, advice and guidance to internal stakeholders to build expertise in procurement and procurement categories across the organisation
- Provide support for pricing reviews and contract re-negotiation, attending or leading scheduled performance reviews, resolving supplier performance matters and incidents, setting work allocation for panel suppliers, participation in supplier management and development forums and preparation of recommendations for contract review.
- Develop and administer contract management plans, negotiate changes and modifications, supplier performance management and compliance requirements by developing effective supplier relationships to enhance category outcomes
- Plan and lead contract negotiations in the establishment and review of supply arrangements to deliver value for money procurement outcomes in specific categories
- Identify, manage and mitigate procurement risks to enable the organisation to meet its obligations and maximise business opportunities
- Document procurement processes, decisions and contractual arrangements to provide an audit trail for probity and audit purposes

**About You**

You will be a Procurement Manager or Category Manager with solid background in Technology / ICT spend. Government experience is advantageous but not essential.

Your notice period should be 2 weeks maximum ideally as my client is keen for the successful applicant to commence as quickly as possible.
