**About the role at Iberdrola Australia**

The Market Operations Analyst operates within Iberdrola Australia’s Operations Control Centre.

This team is the dynamic power control and spot trading hub of the business, responsible for the instantaneous dispatch, monitoring, analysis, and performance reporting of Iberdrola Australia’s fleet of wind, solar, battery and gas assets.

The Control Centre has been at the forefront of market and policy developments as Australia’s power system has changed to integrate large volumes of renewable energy and facilitate thermal exit, interacting with and understanding operational challenges and trends as they emerge.

**Required Qualifications/Skills**

You are a tertiary graduate with qualification in commerce, engineering or science and are seeking experience in:

- Large-scale renewable energy generation and the energy transition.
- Gaining an entry into the National Energy Market as both a physical power system and a market.
- Analysing large datasets, creating insights, and communicating change.
- Making quick decisions focused on optimisation and acting to capture opportunity.
- Working with established trading systems and market data systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
