Bakery All Rounder

We are seeking a **Bakery All Rounder** to join our Infinity Bakery team in either our newly opened bakery / cafe located at Redfern or our Broadway Bakery. This role is perfect for a bakery, cafe or QSR superstar who is keen to work a couple of shifts a week whilst studying or someone looking for a better work life balance.

**The Details**
- PPT role - **2-3 days per week**(more shifts available)
- **12-15 hours per week available**:

- Payrate **$28-30 per hour**plus super
- Shift times between **6am - 3pm**:

- Occasional weekend shifts
- Close to all forms of public transport
- Free bakery treats & coffee provided during shifts
- Full training provided

**Duties**
- Proofing and baking of daily pastries
- Baking daily sourdough breads
- Sorting, packing and displaying baked pastries, bread, cakes & cookies
- Preparing and displaying product in accordance with Food Safety Standards and company guidelines
- Ordering product and supplies
- Checking & communicating any supplier issues
- Simple food preparation and presentation of pastries, breads & focaccia
- Ability to upsell and engage with customers
- Maintain high food safety standards
- Maintain bakery/area cleanliness at all times
- Maintaining cleaning and compliance schedule
- Ensuring you are a great team member to work alongside

**To be Successful**
- 1+ years bakery, café or QSR experience in a similar role
- Prior food preparation experience
- Experience working in with autonomy in a food service environment
- Ability to work in a team & join in our regular team meetings / outings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for sharing knowledge about our Infinity products
- Good time management, reliability & punctuality
- Food Handlers certificate - would be favorable

Our recruitment process requires a face-to-face interview, a 3-hour trial (paid if successful in acquiring the position) and references checks.
