**Production Associate/Factory Hand**

**Part/Fulltime Position (3-5 days/week)**

Dinosaur Design’s is one of Australia’s leading design and manufacturing brands and we are looking for a Production Associate to learn the ropes and join the Sanding Department of our Sydney studio.

Reporting to the Sanding Production Supervisor and Production Manager, you’ll be working alongside our other team members to create Dinosaur Designs’ signature pieces.

After our signature resin pieces are cast in moulds, they need to be cleaned up using a variety of powered sanding tools. Working with the tools, being hands on and fixing the defects from the casts forms the basis of this role.
- An immaculate eye for detail and quality
- Strict quality control standards
- Experience with sanding machinery, preferably within a hands-on production workshop (however this is not mandatory)

We will assist heavily in on the job training on the new techniques and processes you will use to create our products.

Ideally we are looking for a full-time person, however we are flexible and can accomodate lesser days too.

Days are 7.5hrs long with starting times ranging from 7:30am to 10am. We operate sanding Monday through to Saturday, with fulltime employment being 5 days/week.

Some of our homeware pieces are heavy so we need the successful applicants to be fit, willing and able as most of the work is standing up. It's also a repetitive job.

We take health and safety seriously and if you're successful you will:

- Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety requirements, Studio and Company Policy procedures in the various work areas of the studio
- Comply with OH&S requirements ensuring correct protection is worn at all times
- Perform the appropriate stretches as required

**Salary**: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
