**About this opportunity**:

- Supporting garment creation and execution throughout the lifecycle of product, ranging across Proto samples, Salesman samples, Pre Production samples and Shipment samples.
- Work alongside Design, Product Development and Production departments to ensure all technical specs are clear and any measurement requests are consistent with the standard measurements.
- Measure all samples to ensure they conform to size specifications and AJE standards.
- Attend and support in fit sessions, preparing fit samples as required in hanging and steaming, and taking meeting minutes from the senior tech and designer as required.
- Support in recording fit comments in an efficient manner, relaying comments to the factories in a clear and concise format, ensuring amendments are accurately reflected in future samples or production. Completing approx. 6-8 comments per day, pending type of style or comment.
- Support all suppliers with the wider tech team to solve specific make or construction queries.
- Ensure all suppliers understand the standards required to produce for the brand, and maintain through QC’ing samples at each development stage.
- Inspect and assess pre-production. Ensure all previous comments have been accurately followed and highlight any discrepancies with lead GT or Manager.
- QC Shipment samples to ensure bulk is correct based on final PPs comments, with a make quality that meets Aje standards.
- Work with GT Manager and Production Manager to review and control any quality issue or faulty shipper issues to problem solve, keeping delays to a minimum.
- Organisation and storing of hanging and boxed production Samples (SMS and PPS Samples) in the head office.
- Attend weekly team meetings to understand workload for the week from development through to production, upcoming deadlines and team updates.
- Report on quality, faults and production from each season to the GT Manager to input towards a larger factory and product review.
- Work with the GT team to help improve manufacturing problems with all suppliers seasonally.
- Participate and contribute to building AJE internal manual and Supplier manual.

**You will bring**:
Industry experience preferred but not essential, ideally in contemporary or luxury fashion capacity.
Studied Fashion Design
Strong attention to detail to be able to maintain a Gold Seal standard across all garment development and production, through fitting, processing and QC’ing.
Good understanding of pattern cutting.
Experience in working in a fast-paced environment alongside other team colleagues.
Ability to understand urgencies and work towards Critical path key dates.
Tenacious, assertive and determined attitude with excellent attention to detail.
Highly organised and numerical with excellent problem-solving skills.
