Checks damaged, deleted, and defective goods to return-to-vendor inventory. Contacts buyers and suppliers, obtains supplier return authorization for items, packages return-to-vendor items, and ships them out. Distributes, logs, collects, and keys destroyed merchandise sheets. Documents and tracks out-for-repair items. Follows proper safety and security procedures and standards.

**DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Distributes logs, collects, and keys destroyed merchandise sheets from all departments. Keys salvage and salvage-for-credit merchandise with Inventory Auditor and staff-level Manager.
- Ensures RTV inventory accurately reflects the RTV physical, return to depot, destroy for credit, salvage, salvage for credit, special handling, and out for repair inventories. Documents and tracks out-for-repair items. Organizes and accurately processes RTV documents and key to system.
- Keeps RTV inventory at a minimum by obtaining return authorization and shipping merchandise to the approved destination while following guidelines for disposal of merchandise, agreed upon by buyer and supplier to receive the highest recovery rate possible. Notifies management regarding supplier damage and destroy or shrink issues.
- Cleans and organizes the RTV area, secures lock-up items, follows all security procedures, and locks RTV when unattended.
- Rewraps damaged merchandise for sale on the floor.
- Learns other positions in the area and assists as needed.
- Follows proper Receiving and general safety and security procedures and standards.
- Assists in other areas of Receiving as needed.
- Provides prompt and courteous service to members, employees, and suppliers.
