**About the role**

As the National Injury Management Advisor, you will support and provide advice on effective injury management and the return to work process. The role will provide meaningful and regular reports to management to raise awareness of claims risk as well as risk mitigation opportunities, regular training/workshops, develop ongoing strategies for injury management streamline processes within the system and oversee claims to insurers to ensure full entitlements are obtained for the employee and BMD.

Reporting to the Group Safety Manager, you will have the option to be based in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide. As a natural relationship builder, you will influence front line safety resources and supervisors and external stakeholders / service providers to achieve continual improvement.

**Skills and experience**
- 5+ year experience in workers compensation claims and rehabilitation management.
- Relevant qualifications in rehabilitation and workers compensation will be highly regarded.
- Experience in the administration of workers compensation placements.
- Ability to develop relationships with all stakeholders across the business from front line operations to executives.
- Experience in managing service providers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and Microsoft Excel proficient.
