**Job Description**:
You will spend the majority of your time and energy on the mental health and wellbeing side of the role. You will focus on managing diverse psychosocial risk in a variety of situations - from reporters and journalists working in war zones to participants on reality TV shows. You will identify, develop and implement programs specific to industry in order to support a holistic and industry-leading approach to mental health and wellbeing at Nine.

From an Injury Management perspective you will play a strategic role overseeing the function. The day to day RTW Coordination is outsourced, but you will be responsible for ensuring this is an effective partnership, and that timely communication is maintained between the business leaders, the worker, the insurer and all other third-party providers. You will also drive the development of strategy for injury management to ensure continual improvement and best practice.

**Day to day you will**:

- Drive a health and wellbeing culture from a behavioural and compliance perspective
- Assist in the formation of wellbeing strategic objectives and facilitate wellbeing and mental health programs
- Design and implement frameworks, tools, processes and other mechanisms related to injury management and health and wellbeing
- Lead health and wellbeing monitoring, including managing functional and psychosocial risk
- Manage workers compensation, injury management and return to work programs, ensuring robust partnerships with the RTW provider, insurer and other third parties
- Ensure workers Compensation premiums and costs are managed through diligent claims management process and continual reviews nationally

**Qualifications**:
You have recent experience in the proactive and preventative area of wellbeing and mental health, and see this as the future of your career. You have a passion for mental health and are excited to be involved in defining our wellbeing strategic objectives, as well as leading the implementation and facilitation of wellbeing-related programs. You look beyond common wellness initiatives and strive to find practical solutions for psychosocial risks specific to the business.

You are confident in your ability to manage injuries strategically whilst engaging in a partnered approach for RTW activities.

Your passion pushes you to constantly seek out industry best practice to further your own learning and drive improvement. You are a proven leader and an excellent communicator with the ability to maintain stakeholder relationships and influence through strong collaboration, negotiation and resolution skills.

What we would like to see on your resume:

- Experience in driving a health and wellbeing culture from a behavioural and compliance perspective in a large, complex organisation
- Experience in developing, implementing or monitoring psychosocial risk management frameworks highly desirable
- Expert knowledge and experience in the interpretation and implementation of the health & wellbeing elements of the WH&S Legislation
- Experience managing a broad range of workers compensation claims nationally
- Experience in delivering practical solutions to unique issues
- Ability to effectively provide advice to leaders
- Experience facilitating training
- Accredited in Mental Health First Aid is desirable
