Employee Communication Advisor

Ambulance Victoria's (AV) mission is to improve the health of our community by delivering innovative, high quality ambulance services.
AV is seeking an experienced Employee Communication Advisor to design, deliver and evaluate a strategic approach to internal communication that delivers on the Communication and Engagement Division's purpose and the Ambulance Victoria (AV) Strategic Plan.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position currently based in Doncaster.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager Employee Communication, you will work with business units across AV and provide strategic communication advice, develop strategies and create engagement plans to ensure maximum impact of messaging that support AV's strategic plan.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Support the development and delivery of integrated communication content and campaigns to engage staff, stakeholders and community, underpinned by best practice communication approaches and behaviour change principles
- Support the delivery of strategic and integrated communication programs to engage AV people, underpinned by best practice communication approaches and behaviour change principles
- Support the implementation of appropriate frameworks, systems, policies, procedures and reports to support the strategic communication function
- Contribute to monitoring and internal escalation protocols to effectively respond to reputational issues and implement risk mitigation frameworks as appropriate
- Work in collaboration with the wider Communication and Engagement Division to ensure integrated planning and delivery of best practice communication and engagement

ABOUT YOU

**To be considered for this position, you will also possess**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification (Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism) or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience
- Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating strategic communication strategies, programs and policies across a range of multi-disciplinary functions
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of best practice strategic communication and behaviour change
- Sound communication, analytical and business writing skills, with contemporary web based and social media experience
- Sound judgement and ethical vision to make and influence quality decisions, developing innovative solutions
- Availability to work outside ordinary hours as required

This position is graded an AV4 for which the salary range is $97,609 - $122,156 pa plus 10.5% superannuation. The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade.
