- OpenKent is growing dynamically in Australia in response to demand for its core services: decarbonizing Oil & Gas, creating new Low Carbon energy infrastructure (including Hydrogen, Ammonia, Offshore Wind). We are looking for a multi-discipline Concept Study Lead to help win and lead a broad range of consultancy studies spanning early-stage process engineering activities (i.e. concept, appraise and select), progressing to FEED for small to medium-sized projects as well as operational support and troubleshooting, to provide practical solutions to our clients’ challenges, including the requirement to decarbonise oil and gas production.

**The Opportunity**:
Working closely with our clients, you’ll be consulting with them to develop a full understanding of their project requirements, delivering cost effective and innovative solutions. There will be opportunities to collaborate with over 100 engineers and consultants in Australia and more than 2,000 professionals in key locations across the world.

In this role, you will undertake the following duties:

- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, drivers and objectives, and develop and execute projects to meet these needs.
- Support Company’s business development efforts in pursue of new consulting opportunities
- Leading teams to create compelling proposals covering scopes of work, study schedules, and deliverables lists among others.
- Development of proposals and winning work.
- Commercial and technical management of studies and consulting engagements
- Prepare project execution plans and technical reports
- Setting clear technical direction to the study team
- Lead, manage and coordinate the execution of studies through collaboration with multi-discipline study teams
- Presenting work to clients, virtually and face-to-face through reports and presentations as required
- Overseeing bid and project reports and presentations
- You will have the opportunity to work directly with our Business Director and Business Development team in building long term trusted relationships with our clients - both established and emerging with the energy transition - to identify opportunities
- Involvement in a large variety of work, including greenfield studies, asset re-use and optimization, concept development through to FEED.
